A friend's windshield wiper motor will not turn on. You can hear the relay when you turn the wipers on. Any suggestions on how to access the wiper motor?

    Thanks.

I believe it's accessable once you remove the fibreglass shroud around the spare tire. If not, then you'll have to remove the panel at the back of the front driver's side wheel well to get at it. Both are easy to remove, just a handfull of philips screws.

Sorry, but I can't remember which it is. took a quick look at the parts book & it didn't help.

Verell is correct- access from the rear panel behind the front driver side wheel. Just a few screws and all will be revealed. Sometimes those panels may not have been removed for quite some time- so they may be a little stuck.

There is also a panel in the front of the wheel well for getting to the blower, removing the spoiler, etc.

Thanks for the information. It sounds like a project for the weekend. Now, if the motor is bad???

If the motor's bad you could have a problem, as they are pretty scarce, you might have to have it re-wound.
