Chuck,I'm sorry to hear that you have a bad Head gasket, but glad to hear that you are fixing the Maserati and hopefully keeping her.

Thats why I don't do any of my own engine work own cars anymore. All of that crap that you have to take off, and remember exactly where it goes back, which fastener, ETC... Plus, that little plastic part that you just accidentally snapped off is actually something very important....and very expensive....

When my Son gets to be abouit 10 or so. We want to get an old car of some sort that we can restore and work on together. Something from the 60's probably. Where as when you open up the hood, you see nothing but an engine. So that I can teach him how to take them apart and put them back together. Build them up a little. ETC.... He can learn the other modern stuff in Auto Shop class in School. And, when it's done, we can take it to Cruise Nights,Cars Shows,ETC....( and,something that I can hold over his head when he's a teenager. If he wants to take it out-or my Ferrari-he has to be a good boy.... )

I'll keep you guys posted with my "Arizona Spotteds" next week. I was just checking the AZ FChat and apparently there is a Red Pagani Zonda running around out there. I'll try to get some pix with my new DIGITAL,(Finally!!!) Camera.... Supposedly, the owner also had owned an Enzo and a McLaren F1, but sold them. I am also bringing along my Video Camera, so, I'll see what I can find. I'll have to check out "The Pavilions" in Scottsdale. Thats where all the neato Cars and Bikes go on Saturday Nights.

You'd love the AMG'ed versions in any of the 65 range. Ignore the staggering performance and engine output numbers and even the engine alone looks like something out of a F1 car.

Yeah AMG has done there homework lately....Im just amazed that this engine is the basis for the 7.3L Zonda F...Which IMO is the best sounding car out right now....

 

I don't think I've seen that one, Ive seen the "5th gear" Zonda F track video and the vid of Pagani taking the F up and down the street infront of the factory....Wow!

There is supposed to be a Red Pagoni Zonda running around out here. If I see it, will definitely get some pix. Maybe Sat. nite.
