This Ferrari was at Sunday's concours, but it had no info card. I've seen this car before, but have no serial number or model info. This should be an easy one.

While you wait for a reply, what are your thoughts on the Concours moving to the golf course
    and how did it go?

I missed it as I was at the Classic 24 at Daytona.

At first I thought the move was a bad idea, but after the show, I think it's a great new place. There is room enough so the cars are not crammed together and as a photographer you know how hard it is to get good shots when the crowds are around the cars. Plus, the park area the lighting was difficult, strong sun and shade made using flash necessary. The four fairways that were used gave plenty of room to view the cars and still not get overwhelmed with the crowds. I always thought Park Ave. was too narrow to show cars and accomodate the crowds, so I like the move.

Like Str8shooter I spent the weekend at Daytona at the 24hr Classic. I was asked to bring my 400iA to Winter Park, which I've done numerous times, but the racing won out.

How was attendance? My concern with moving it to the golf course and charging spectators admission would eliminate some number of folks (friends and strangers) who in past years stopped by to chat.

    Thanks,
    Al

I'm sure there was a slight drop in attendance, but it was hard to tell as there was a good size crowd but it was more spread out so it seemed like a smaller crowd.

It is 0717. I put my life's blood into restoring her in 2002. Nice to see she's still in fine fettle after a decade.

I worked on the car as well with John at GT Motors in '01 and '02. It debuted at Pebble Beach in 2002. Nice to see it's still making the rounds...

Interior color of 0717 is burgundy. 410 SAs have a 5 liter Lampredi motor, while Boanos have a 3 liter Colombo. 410 production was 35 cars over three series. Larger wheelbase than the Boano as well I believe.

Ed, the Series II 410SA was the high end car and the concurrent Elena was the low end car. This kinship seems to continue until the mid 1960's... the 500SF vs. the 330GTC.

This photo is a testament to the magnificence of a design. It looks beautiful even in such unfinished state.

This car looked beautiful on the fairways. Moving the event will make for a much better event in years to come. While on Park it was too crowded. Plus if you've ever been to CC than $20 is very little to pay.
