Red Enzo, yesterday at 4:00 PM. Car was being unloaded from a tow truck in front of an office building in the loop. Nose of car bottomed out a little bit. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice! I'm going to Chicago this weekend.. Sat or Sun I'm not sure yet. Hope the weather's nice enough for spottings.
I don't believe this is a new acquisition. Car had Illinois Plates (not vanity). Perhaps it was returning from service? Tow truck had a Lake Bluff port of call.
oh the only 2 red enzos i know in IL had vanity plates. So we have 3 ? I know we lost a black one 2 months ago..
Out this afternoon for a drive, what fun! I have not had the car out since I put it away for the winter and it is the longest I have gone without going for a drive, about three months. The drive took about 45 minutes, long enough to get everything warn.
Wow! We actually have four red ones. (I've seen all four in person. That is not counting this one, although I don't know the plate on this one so maybe I've seen it.)
Just verified that I haven't seen the picture car before, so that's a total of 5 for Illinois. Very cool! Only 25 to go and we're tied with California...
I know the 2 with vanity plates, and i forgot the one from Dan Mcneil. Which is the 4th one ? The 5th being this one here.
In addition to this one I saw the other day, I am aware of another (red with red) that was originally delivered to Illinois (and had) Illinois tags. I had a condo in the same building as this guy from 1996-2003. The last time I saw him (and his Enzo) was in 2006, but between 1996-2006 he had about 12 F-Cars, SLR, CGT, several Bentley and a ton of AMG Cars. I know he sold his janitorial business in 2002, and was thinking of leaving Chicago, not sure if he is still here. In 2006 I took my Elise back to the old building for a wash and at that time he had a 612, Bentley GT, SLR and Enzo. I don't want any criticism on the poor pictures, I know they suck, just trying to help those that count Enzos. FYI - the Condo was very close to Michigan/Chicago, prefer not to state the building to protect the innocent. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Spotted today and Roosevelt and Main in Wheaton, a Nissan GTR. I still like these a lot! I was surprised at the lack of cool cars today with the beautiful weather for a Saturday.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great spotting. But you realize you make us non Police Officers very nervous by snapping pictures from you squad car? I like the GTR as well, but compared to the new Lexus it looks dated. Then again, it costs about a single family home less. Self spotting: Took the 308 out for a trip on LSD.
Right on. And it is cool that there are cops who dig sports cars. My image of a cop was the goofs giving chase in Cannonball Run. You have changed all that.
Grey Gallardo twice. Second time on Michigan avenue and a Red 360 was 2 cars behind. Later on Audi R8. RR Silver Seraph earlier. That car looses a lot withou the white wall tires.
Andreas, I agree, we should never waste a sunny day to get out and drive. Kept the top up but took a run up to the WI border this afternoon. Clear a little of the carbon out as a teaser for Spring. Think it may rain tomorrow, so never waste an opportunity
