I actually love it even more after these 2 days of snow driving . I have done 300 miles and it didnt miss a beat and handles beautifuly .
Somehow...it looks good in the snow. Very capable and natural. You see pictures of Porsches, at the beach or on a winding road, not driving in heavy snow...I like it. Oh yeah...we got clobbered with about a foot of snow also, this weekend. Be Safe. Ciao...Paolo
me, 2 days ago driving a red/tan 360 spyder.... lemme just say the traction control works like a charm!
Yellow 360 Spider with Challenge Grill and Modular Wheels on 83 around noon. Quattroporte on Michigan Ave around 3pm Black Veyron and 2 Murcie Versace at BGoldcoast. Dwtn was empty !
Took both cars out for a maintenance spin. Got some cheers from Holiday-return-the-gift-shoppers on Michigan Avenue. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
hello maserati quattroporte @ old mchenry road & coffin drive in long grove, illinois. looks sharp in black. my wife subjects me to the shops of long grove way too often. isn't there a quick way to get to LFSC from there? thanks joe
Took the 308 out for an extended spin. Took a while until everything was warmed up again, but eventually it started to feel just right: Clicking through the gears (including 2nd), nice throttle pickup on the gas, good brakes, the occasional bang from the exhaust while bleeping it for the downshift. Crisp steering, low seating position, it felt great after weeks of driving the Toyota whooshmobile. In fact I drove zig zags on the straights, just to feel the wheels catching the car. Then the ultimate fun of thundering up a LSD ramp at full blast. I missed that.
I was also out in the 328 today. Took a quick spin around town and had to do some fast corners for that tire-grab, G-force feeling. Nothing but smiles!!
Hey Townshend, Good restuarant, but if you want the same menu at half the price go next door to Frontera grill. Same owner(Rick Bayless) but he just puts down white linen table clothes at the other place. Same exact menu.
Menu is not the same, however at Topolobampo you can order most dishes from Frontera but not the other way. Also, you can make reservations there and not at the other (unless your party is more then 5)
