    Hi

In the UK our roads get covered in rock salt over the winter which has a tendancy to melt metal. Hence Ferrari's tend to hibernate. I was just wondering what people do to keep their cars in good condition over the winter months if not driven much?

    Full-on heated and de-humidified garage?

Garage with good ventilation but no heating dehumidified?

    Carcoon?

Do you turn the engine over? if so for how long and how frequent?

Keep it on the ground or on stands?

I have a well ventilated garage and try to run the car for a 20 mile trip whenever the roads are clear or atleast get to tickover until water and oil hot once a week. I appreciate that engine wear is at its max on cold starts etc but in your opinions is it better to "keep things rotating" every now and again (including wheels to move CV / wheel bearing grease about) ?

Please use the search function. There have to be a dozen exact threads in the last month. Go figure that people request storage information just before the winter starts :)
