The snow just started here but I have all of our used 4x4's out front. Hopefully we'll sell a few today.

    Hutch,

Whenever you are ready my friend! I'll take care of you. :)

Mine has seen a little snow. There was a paved road about 300 miles back in Fairbanks...

Stockpro, beautiful D90! I had a 97 that I loved. Seriously regret that I sold it. Enjoy!

Honda CR-V. I like the car in normal weather, but its dissapointing inthe snow. The "Realtime 4wd" as they call it sucks, plain and simple. It works by being fwd until the fronts slip. In what feels like 30 seconds later, the rears come in. WTF, why must the front tires spin so much while the rears do nothing? At least it came with a 6 disc in dash changer, so i have somthing to listen to while im waiting for the 4wd to come on! It is much miuch better than a fwd or rwd car in the snow though, but the quirky 4wd system doesnt make me feel comfortable drifting it around the streets, although im starting to feel what it will do now that im used to the system. In parking lots, however, its all out all the time!

Just a side note, one of my buddies has a Z3 2.8. you would think it sucks in the snow...and it did last winter. After fitting a set of Blizzaks and putting 50lbs of rock salt in the trunk, its crazy how much better it is. He made it up 20 degree hills (20deg is steeper than it sounds) that had 4 inches of snow with packed snow for a base...all with barely spinning a tire.

Jeff, do you have snow tires on your G? This is the first winter i've had with the G, and took it out briefly last night. Do you have any suggestions for driving in snow (low gear, etc)? Thanks.

No,Just the stock tires. Haven't had to really do anything special, the G rools through any snow I have encountered just fine. Haven't even needed to mess with the lockers either. Maybe if we get something deeper!

Winter? The only decision here is to have the roof spider on or off :) California does have its good points.

$100k? That's just ridiculous. I've been in the Rover business for 10 years. There is nothing that special about the 97 LE's. Roof-rack, diamond-plate accents, and color. That's it.

    Now here is a real $100k d90

That's some good flex out of your frontend. 3link?

Ever spend any time on Pirate4x4.com ?

Front end is a 4link, 2 UCA's and 2 LCA's. Man I love coil springs :). The rear end doesn't flex much at all, thanks to the leaf springs...
I'm not at Pirate4x4.com, but I'm at jeepin.com. What's your SN on pirate?

Exactly my thoughts too. Nothing special about it. The dealer justifies the price b/c of low mileage (something like only 600mi), LE, and last D90 imported. Still crazy!

I have the exact opposite problem on my suspension. Front is Radius arms with Panhard. Rear is two LCA and upper wishbone. Coils all around.

    SN on pirate is

Are any of your axles locked? I want to go for some radius arms in the front, so the UCA's don't bind. We don't do too badly with our unibody :)
