Does anyone have a recommend brand for some winter tires for the Ferrari California?

Nokian or Bridgestone Blizzak. While I'm not sure about the Cal/Portofino, I try to find older wheels which can accommodate higher profile tires (narrower) which still fit the wheel wells. May take some measuring.

Then I leave the winter set of four on those wheels and change out seasonally.

Not sure of how much experience you have with a Cali but IMO, neither the Hakkapeliitta nor the Blizzak tires are appropriate.

Nokian does not offer appropriately sized tires (only 19") and speed ratings are far too low (only R rated - 106 mph max.). No Blizzaks are spec'd by Bridgestone for the Cali. IMO, while Hakkapeliittas and Blizzaks are great full-time Snow/Ice Winter tires for non-performance vehicles, they can be dangerous for cars like the Cali because they greatly degrade the handling and performance of the car under otherwise normal dry conditions, like on clear highways. You can crash the Cali if you try to drive spiritedly on these tires on a nice dry but cold day. The sidewalls and treads can and will squirm and the timing of your actions will be greatly affected.

As already suggested by other FChatters, you should be looking at high performance Winter/Snow tires like the Michelin Pilot Alpin (PA4 N-SPEC) V-rated (149mph) or the Pirelli Winter Sottozero (SERIE II) V (149 mph) and W (168 mph) speed rated. Using the lesser Winter tires is like swapping summer tires with a Camry during the regular driving season.

for ferraris its usually pirelli. for the FF michelin just came out with a snow tire recently and the car has been out since 2012. nokian doesnt make any ferrari sizes. they barely make range rover 20 inch sizes.
