I looked a bit through the archives, did not find an answer to my question:

For those of us starting the long winter season, what is the best fuel additive? Many a geographically challenged Ferrari will be sitting for months, and man does it get COLD here in Chicago.
    HEET? Stabilize (spelling?)?

I always used the fuel stabilizer that I bought for my boat at a marine store. I believe it is called Stabil. Never had a problem.

I just bought my first Ferrari as well. I plan on using Sta-Bil. I've used it in my boat for years and it seems to work great. The guy at the auto parts shop I use endorsed it as well for the Ferrari.

I've used stabil for many years in old carbed corvettes, my carbed harley and the FI Ferrari... never had a problem.

Just be sure to get the amount right (additive) and fill the tanks to the top to lessen the amount of water that could be absorbed from the air (and to prevent rust from exposed areas inside the tank).
