    Is anybody here doing the WinterX this week at MMP? I can't participate, but I plan to go watch for a while. I've never been so I'm kinda trying to see what to expect. Hope to see some of you there. :)

    I don't think I'll make it since I just did a rally cross two days ago at Miller, so my wife might not approve. But I did it last year and it's a lot of fun. It's a safe, fun, and cheap way to get some track time. I'll try to get out to the next one.

    Too bad you can't make it. :) Maybe another time. Is it pretty good for spectators?

    They space out the cars on the track so there is no passing, and there are cones setup on the turns, so think of it as a high speed auto cross on the track. Still, it's kind of fun to watch. Probably won't see any exotics, although last year there was a Gallardo but I think he was doing some parade laps. Here are some pics: http://albums.phanfare.com/4923018/3409176

    I'm hoping one of these events will have a lot of snow, that will make it much more interesting.

    Thanks for sharing the pictures. Looks like quite a variety.

    Looks like we might get some rain/snow on Thursday and Saturday, so hopefully a little will be there Friday for some excitement.

    Lol I'm a little slow sometimes.... I must have looked at the wrong days on the calendar and was planning on going to watch this on Friday. Luckily, decided to double check the webpage calendar before the drive to Tooele and saw that it was actually on Saturday. I was stuck at work and didn't make. Oh well, next time maybe. :D
