    One of the wiper arms on my car broke at the swivel joint which allows you to raise the arms for washing etc. Does anyone know if I can get a replacement from other compatible makes? Thanks in advance.

    Daniel,

    I really like the wiper arms you got for me. One question...the 'old' or original style had metal hinged caps where they mount to the swivel post. The ones you had in stock had plastic hinged caps that lasted about 10 minutes. Are the metal hinged version even available anymore? Just curious.

    Good question. Let me try to do some investigating. Were the old metal covers still in your posession to use on the new arms?

    UPDATE: Just looked at another set on the shelf. How did the plastic cap break? At the rivet point? I can see how that might happen. If you're driving around with crappy looking arms, let me send another set today, while I source new ones with metal covers.

    Yes, they broke off at the rivet point. I kept my old wiper arms (I keep all of my old Ferrari parts!). No need to send new ones, just curious if wiper arms with the metal covers were even still available.

    If someone doesn't know what they should look like, they would never know the plastic covers are gone!
