    Hi guys,

Recently I purchased a pair of wiper arms that I believed were correct for my 71 Euro E series but unfortunately when they arrived I found they didn't actually have the spline in the fitting hole; i.e. I guess this product was intended to slip (snugly) over the original splined wiper drive shaft and be held in place with the spring washer and flat nut, and supplied cover plate over the top (I have a recollection seeing this 'style' on a later car, but cant be sure). In any case it just wont do, so I've done my dough here.

Can anyone assist and recommend a supplier where I can go get arms (black) that are suitable to install as original with the domed nut etc?

Please advise: Most important or I wont be able to go out in the rain...lol

    Paul,
I know where to get correct OE silver wiper arms however they need to be refinished in black.
Give me a few days to get to my workshop and I'll send the info. I wouldn't get the ones commonly available elsewhere...

    Paul,

Just curious... do you have the part numbers for the two arms that you need?

    Andrew,
That would be a life saver - PM sent.

    Mike,
The wiper arms are noted as parts 26 and 27 on TAV 118: (basically Part #607E-401764 and 607E-401345) I say basically because in the 'note' column there's quite a few variations eg USA/AUS etc etc.

    Paul.
