So I have an issue with the intermittent wipe on my car. The time is to short so the wipers don’t do one full sweep. I suspect the intermitter is faulty.

Part number seems to be 134447, available from my preferred Ferrari specialist for an exorbitant fee :)

Has anyone found an equivalent part, most wiper relays are around a 1/10th of the price.

Hi, look for the part# 90069864 at Ebay. You will find enough of fitting relays.

Thanks , will have a look.

Looks like a GM part, do you know this to be equivalent and work correctly?

Did you check the wiper motor park switch
The wiper motor has a “park switch inside” and that’s opens when the wipers are at their rest position the relay sends power momentarily and the switch will hold power till it see the wipes parked

The number "90069864" can be found on the OEM Part. See the picture at Ferrariparts UK that will be displayed for Ferrari #134447.
    Simple as that :).
Normally they "smear" the parts of the picture showing any other numbers. For this part they forgot to do so.

Thanks, no I did not. Not clued up on wiper motors :) is there a way to test the switch. I had all the trunk liner out today to inspect the motor and check the wiring. It would have been a good time to check it. I guess I will try a relay first and then check out this switch if that does not work.

It is odd, it seems the timing is all out, it wipes for a while but it is to short so never get back to the start. It pauses a while and then carries on where it left off.

The wiper looks a very standard part so I guess easy enough to either repair or replace.

You will need a test light and wiring diagram
Too check it right I’ll check my paperwork later later

    Reviving this thread.

My wipers were stopping intermittently so I got a new relay. They have the proper range of motion and don't randomly stop anymore.
Now the wipers stop they are halfway up the windscreen when I turn them off.

How do I reset the "park switch"?

    Thanks.

I don't think you can. There is a cam-operated switch in the motor which should stop the motor in the down position. Either the switch is not operating properly or your new wiper module is faulty. The switch may have been causing the original random issue. I assume you haven't physically disturbed the motor/drive.

Resetting the battery won't work. Power for the system only comes from the key.
