Does anyone have the wire colors for the various switches that are in front of the shifter on a 95 F355? I know I should be able to find them in the wiring diagram from the ferrari data base, but that file is so large that I am having difficulty navigating it. I have a 355 that had the interior taken apart by the PO and I can't figure out which plug goes to which switch.

    Hi, Brian.
I had the same trouble with a previous owner... The rear fog light activated the door locks (etc).. and I understand your difficulties navigating the wiring diagrams (in the electrical section of Workshop Manual 3). The wiring colours for these switches involve several diagrams.

Here's my best attempt at sorting out the colours. Hopefully there are not too many variations between US/Euro cars, etc:

From Figure 9 of the wiring diagrams...

Door unlock: Yellow/Red, Violet/White and two blacks (with one black jumper between these). The manual uses the word "violet" (colour code "Z") rather than purple
Door lock (on my car, a red plug): Yellow/Red, Brown/Green, two blacks (with one jumper between these).
Heated rear window/mirrors: Black, Green, Blue/Red, Yellow/Red. Although, on my Spider with no heated rear window, the colours are: Black, Green, Blue/White, Yellow/Red.

From Figure 8 of the wiring diagrams...

Rear Fog: Black, two Orange, Yellow/Red

From Figure 7 of the wiring diagrams...
    Suspension switch: Red/Green, White/Red, Black/Violet, Yellow/Red.

Could you let me know if your colours are different? I'll try to add these colours to some diagrams I'm working on.

    For example....

I haven't coloured all the wires, but the colour codes are there.

Thankfully, my side switches are marked with dots to identify them.

    Cheers
    Ian.

(EDIT) Sorry, I arranged my list to show a right hand drive car (looking at the switches left to right). I should have arranged it to suit a left hand drive car (which is a mirror image).

P.S. If you need to relocate those switches, be very careful with the switch support plate. The framework is easily broken (as you can see from "Gobble"'s pictures). I had to replace mine recently.

Thank you so much for the helpful replies. I won't be able to look at it for a couple of days but I think this info will solve my problem!
