    I have a 1981 308 GTSi.

I am rebuilding my wiring harness, and I failed to not the color pairs that go to each of the three flywheel sensors. Does anyone have that info handy? Thanks loads.

That was what I needed. You are right about getting the diagrams.

Does it matter what direction the leads are? In other words, is there a positive/negative lead to the sensors, or can they be reversed? The sensors I have are after market, and I think they all just have a read and black leads.

I've never put a scope on the Ferrari crankshaft position sensors but on most cars polarity does indeed matter. The pulse presented to the ignition module which is created by the rotating magnet on the flywheel goes positive at onset and negative at trailing edge of the magnet. Reversing the wires will reverse those pulses and according to theory, although engine will run, it will throw the timing off.

If the aftermarket TDC sensors also have black/red leads, I would follow the Ferrari sensor wire colors, which are also black/red at the leads. If not, post the lead colors and mfgr & p/n as perhaps others have been there/done that. This is no place to experiment. In either case, where did you purchase what for how much? Do you need the rest of the diagram which shows digiplex connector number for the wires?

The speed sensor which is originally red and red w/black stripe will not matter as only the pulse count is used, not the pulse edge.
