    Was talking to a motorcycling bloke on the weekend who mentioned having some new wire wheels made from scratch by a bush wizard. Bloke in Kingaroy (country Qld) who spins the rims from scratch and makes all the spokes to suit. Does all sorts of oddities including for a Sopwith Camel! I understand he's busy, not looking for work, but thought this might be useful for some: Steve Hood, Kingaroy.

    Very cool.
    We have a bloke up here who makes perfect Billiard/snooker/pool cues who doesn't use a lathe.....just does it ll by hand..amazing.
