I am having a big problem with the wiring harness from the drivers door. A couple of wires have popped out and I'm unsure of which wire goes into which hole. I have attempted to alternate the two wires in each hole but I continue melting the 20 AMP fuse. I have been unsucessful in finding a wiring diagram that would show me which colored wire belongs in which hole. Is there anyone out there who has this information or who is familiar with this particular problem? Is there a wiring diagram available that would help me? I've been trying for two weeks to rectify this problem and everyone is so busy I can't even get help from anyone for a month.

Much appreciation for any help in this regard.

    Welcome to FerrariChat, "newbie"!

This might help you, from an old thread (see chart in post #6):

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45097&highlight=diagram+wires+door

I can't absolutely guarantee that your 348 will match this, particularly if someone has messed with it in the past.

There are a number of threads in the archives (use the search feature) that deal with problems, repairs, and modifications on the door jamb connectors.

Good luck, let us know what happens!

I don't know what year my Workshop Manual was originally printed (mine is a photocopy), but I know that the wire colors and positions I noted in my link were an exact match for the colors and positions that I physically confirmed in my 1990 348ts. But they aren't an exact match for the colors and positions in Malcolm's diagram. If Lilithime's car is a 1992, I don't know which of our diagrams would be correct for his car. My manual does not show all 18 of the wires at connector 147 in one single diagram (as Malcolm's does), in mine part of it is in diagram 4 and part of it is in diagram 7 (or 4b and 7b).

One of them should be correct!
