Ok so how many Enzo wrecks does that bring the total to?

I'd have to say 10 at least...

Take a good look guys...a 5 figure repair bill...in British pounds!!! That can be translated to 6 figures in Canadian (or even US) currency. That's gotta hurt!

The driver was not hurt but he would have been shortly if it was my Enzo.

Its like people who get on something like a yamaha r1 and go full throttle. Most people do not realise that seriously fast vehicles cannot just be opened up anywhere, its the syndrome of one chance to see what itll do.
I did such a drive at age seventeen in a testarossa, since that car was meerly fast, just a good time was had, and no harm was done. But put someone inexperienced in some real power and speed, such as any modern superbike or in something like an f40 enzo maclaren etc and the speed difference to their regular mustang subaru merceedes whatever is so great that there is bound to be a crash on that ONE drive.

Its like letting an unfortunate american driver loose on the autobahn and expecting that on the first drive they will be able to judge closing rates and stopping/slowing distances at 160 mph. Yes people can adjust but even the good ones need time and experience to recalibrate.

That being said it seems most enzo's crashed have been done in by IDIOTS, and lets face it they didnt make enough for all the idiots out there to crash.

Thats the property developer Frank Mountain's Enzo, the dude that bought Schumachers 2002 F1 car for an undisclosed fee (feat on Fifth Gear). He apparently leant his Enzo to a dozy mate of his who then proceeded to plough it straight into a bus a few moments later.......nice one.

i haven't been keeping a count, but let's see if we can start one...

    1. The only fatality i know of, so far... The Texas Enzo (Titty Bingo something or other)... i have a piece of this car's brake rotor... :) i would be willing to bet that, for ANOTHER $670,000, Ferrar will build him another one... :)
    2. The Florida car; we all heard the story... Some kid in his dad's car or whatever... i don't know the details or if that's how it really even happened, but that's another one... i'm pretty sure the car was or is being fixed...
    3. Frank Mountain's car, this most recent issue in England... Some cosmetic and mechanical damage... Not the end of the world in the realm of "can it be fixed?"... This, too, shall pass...
    4. Then there's the Don Wallace car (132648); the one in the "i'd hit it!" picture that everyone keeps posting... i have no idea who Don Wallace is, but, could it be possible that this might be the same car as the "Florida car"...?
    5. Then there's 132651; there's a picture of part of this car's chassis in the Enzo Register... i have absolutely no idea what happened to this car, but would love to know... i don't know where this car is from or who the owner is or what... Any information would be great...

These are the only 5 accidents i know about... If anyone knows of any others, please post here...

I'm not sure if im getting my stories mixed up here but I recall hearing that the car with only the chassis on enzo registry is the one that was crashed by the owners son. He took a corner too fast went into a tree and the car caught on fire. He escaped without injury,(until his father found out;) )

Someone managed to get it for him, for a fee of course. While you might think it looks like a brake rotor, it looks more like something I'd emit after eating at McDonalds. Still... neat. =)
