Straight copy from Owners forum post:

    Gents, ladies,

I typically post in the Florida and California threads, for obvious reasons.
But perhaps this is of interest to people who get a new Ferrari:

I just called Sirius radio, gave them the SAT radio ID from the headunit (looked up via the menu) and they gave me a 1 year free trial offer. Standard deal. (Turns out this is fairly normal for new cars, just a nice long trial with Ferrari)

No contract, credit card or anything required.

I thought that was a pretty good deal I'd share with you. (even though I'll probably will not purchase after 12 months, just go back to Pandora)

If you are interested, the number to call is 888-742-1052
Find the Sirius ID via the menu (subscriptions I believe)

I'll post in Cali and 458 also, Mod will get me for it but oh well.

    Collin

    Thanks Collin!

I think Amanda's new Saturn Sky came with 6 months......they are looking to capture new owners as users.

It takes about 5 minutes to download and initialize the service, she didn't wait that long and thought it was broken.....I bought her 6 more months, for about $25.

Valeria loves Pandora too, good service.

I'll have to chime in with the standard response:

"uh, these things have a radio? never needed to use it :D"

People over in the 458 section fret about whether to order it with the std radio or upgrade it to <blah> when in fact, the best sound comes from the throttle pedal while the radio is turned off. The very fact they fret about this kind of stuff marks them.

I love my XM (now = Sirius) and won't have a car without it. When you are driving at continuous speed on a four lane I need something to break the monotony. Doing the twisties in the mountains, no radio no problem.
