Did anyone happen to catch last night’s episode of ‘Without a Trace’. Jason Priestly (of 90210 fame) was the guest start / bad guy. In the last scene he tries to make a get away in a private plane. The plane had a Ferrari shield on the door. Pretty cool since Ferrari doesn’t make planes.

Actually there is a plane with the ferrari logo on it, and they are made that way. The company is Piaggio Aero, and the plane is called Avanti, and if I remember correctly Ferrari either owns them or purchased them to some sort, something like that, they are actually very FAST planes, comfy too!

    Piero is Chairman.
The airplane-company Piaggio Aero is controlled by the family of Piero Ferrari, who also still holds 10% of the famous carmaker Ferrari.-Wikipedia
Has been theirs since late 80's IIRC. Nice plane, I think Bert Rutan had something to do with design of it, PF does interiors.

Yes, I saw it too. The emblem is one of the stick ons. It was just right of the passenger door of the plane. It appeared to be a six or 8 place plane but the camera angle did not show the full fuselage or the nose or tail. It had a pull-down three step stair for entry into the passenger area on the right hand side of the plane. Could not tell what kind of plane it is..........

I saw one of the planes like Piero has out in Midland, Texas several years ago. It is really unique. Very quiet operating also. Would love to take a flight in one of them. It looks very agile...

I was wondering last night if anyone else would see the emblem.

I was really surprised to see it in the show last night too.

It was definitely a peel and stick "resin" type SF fender shield.

I assume that Jason or someone else involved with that show must be a Ferrari F1 racing fan and stuck it on the plane for grins.

They even had the camera angle, after he shot the other guy, pan onto him with the plane in the background and you could plainly see the emblem over his left shoulder......
