I started a new thread for older AMR 1/43 models. Some of these models were built in the 80’ and 90’. I will add a few models every day, so if your interested in AMR and other white metal models, keep watching for the wolfman thread.
All models shown are hand built from kits and no factory builds’.

Wolfman, do you keep your collection on display or have them hidden away?

AMR prices are skyrocketing at the moment. Some factorybuilts are fetching over a $1000,- a piece, which is crazy!

They are great Wolfgang! Love these whitemetal cars.

    moriaan1, thank you Hans!

Yes I noticed, there are collectors out there who really drive the prices of factory builds AMR/Le Phoenix sky-high.
Way over 1000.00 Euros and not USD!

I do have a few factory builds, which I will show later in these thread!

I think this is just crazy. There are MR models out there with opening panels for much less and they are faaaaaaaaaar superior. And we were complaining about $100 Bburagos....................

Some collectors are pretty eager for a certain model, the fact mr. Ruf passed away and production already stopped a few years back is not making them cheaper....

AMR is a very good series, whitemetalkits are hardly made nowadays, because resin is adds more detail.

Thank you for the info. I looked at my post and I realized that I sounded like a jerk and it was not my intention. I realized long time ago that without the headstart many of you have I could never keep up, let alone catch up, with the 1:43 world. This is why I stayed away from it. Well mostly. I still have a couple hundred of them but none with such price tags.
I do understand that some items have "art value" that has nothing to do with their accuracy or detail. It is just that some of these models look pretty crude and I did not expect them to be in the thousands.

WOLFMAN, you make me jealous. Keep them coming. I always enjoy your models.
