After I posted that I realized that for the first race the car had a "stock" F40 nose. My mistake. I'm just so used to the usual Art Sports livery.

    Wonderful cars!
I started working on making a 1:18 LM not to long ago, but could use a little help on finding some of the parts. I need the windows, wheels, seats, steering wheel, cage, and a correct wing. Engine details will not be my main concern because this is going to be more of a practice job... Is there a site anyone can suggest for the bulk of these parts?

So what is your main body building the F40. Is it Burago or Kyosho?
Sorry, I don’t know any sites, all my 1/18 F40 versions were built by a pro-builder.

    I'm using a Bburago.

I'd like to make it as close to this as I can, but in black.

I used to have a transkit from Robustelli in 1/18th of the Art Sports F40LM for the Burago diecast F40. If you can find one they are very nice trans kits that include some body panels, machined wheels and 10 sheets of very fine brass and nickel photo etch. They cost $200.00 15 years ago! Weak point was you had to use a diecast since no one makes a 1/18th scale F40 kit. Better yet, just buy the Hiro kit wich is even more detailed.
