29 August 1999, Belgian GP, not a good day for the Scuderia Ferrari. Irvine was not able to get on the podium. He finished in 4th place, Salo was 7th overall.
Model shown is a special built BBR kit. The Irvine figure was hand carved by a person from the US west coast.
Take a close look at this F1 model. At the Belgian GP the Scuderia did not use there Tabacco sponsor, instead the placed “Formula One” on there cars. This was a one time doing by the Scuderia.

17 October 1999, Malaysia GP, Michael Schumacher has returned to F1 circuit. The start was perfect for Michael, in the 4th lap Michael let Irvine pass. Irvine finished in 1st place and Michael came in second.
Model shown is a Gasoline SEP01 version, only 25 were made.

3 October 1999, Japanese GP, Häkkinen was the winner, Michael was in second place.
Model shown is a BBR made for MakeUp, a very rare model.

These are the last three F399 models. This also concludes the F399 era from 1999.

In the year 2000, the Scuderia Ferrari developed a new F1 called F1-2000.

After a few test at Fiorano, Schumacher called the new F1-2000 a dream car.
It was a year full of emotions with ups and downs, but in the end Schumacher had clinched his 3rd world championship title. The previous two world titles were for Benetton Team.

February 7, 2000, The press was waiting at Fiorano to see the new F2000.
Montezemolo, Todt, Schumacher and Barrichello were presenting the new F1 2000.

March 12, 2000, Australian GP, it was an fantastic race for Schumacher and his 1st win this season. Showing are two F1-2000 Australian GP models, the BBR-BG203 and the Antelmi built version.

March 26, 2000, Brazil GP. It was Michaels 2nd win this season for the Scuderia.
The Brazil GP model is a Quattro Ruotine limited to only 25 pieces.

April 9, 2000, Imula GP, it was Schumachers 3rd win in a row.
April 23, 2000, Silverstone GP, Schumi made 3rd place.
May 21, 2000, Europe GP (Nürburgring) Schumachers 4th win.
June 18, 2000, Canadian GP, Schumachers 5th win.

July 30, 2000, Hockenheim GP. Barrichello wins his 1st GP for Ferrari.
BBR model was built by Skunk (Asian builder).

August 13, 2000, Hungarian GP, Schumacher 2nd place.
August 27, 2000, Belgian GP, Schumacher 2nd place.
September 10, 2000, Italian GP, Schumacher 6th win, the Tifosis went crazy.

September 24, 2000, US GP, Schumachers 7th win, Barrichellos was 2nd.

BBR made a special set for the US Pacific Ferrari Club.

October 8, 2000, Japanese GP Suzuka, Schumachers 8th win, the crew placed #1 on the front nose cone of the car.
OMF model shown, has a black #1 on front nose.
The BBR-MakeUp set, Suzuka track imprinted on the leather base.

October 22, 2000, Malaysian GP, Schumi had his 9th win and became World Champion 2000.
Models shown are BBR-BG217, BBR-Box01 set and BBR-MakeUp11 set.

After 21 years, the Scuderia Ferrari had a new world champion “Michael Schumacher”.

To me as a BIG Schumi fan and collector, just showing models does not justify my collection. Therefore a background story for each year he was driving for the Scuderia Ferrari, will round up the overall picture on Michael.
I may have lots of models, but still quite a few are still missing, so in the future I will built the missing ones.

My models are in four wall mounted display cases. Plus seven open shelfs were the diorama sets are displayed.

Brazil GP Interlagos, Schumacher was able to pass Coulthard on the start. After the first lap, Michael passed Häkkinen until lap 19 when Schumacher had to pit. But on the end Schumacher had the win in his pocket.
The Brazil GP model was produced by Quattro Ruotine very rare version.

German GP Hockenheim, A bad day for Schumacher, on the start Fisichella hit Schumacher in the rear, both cars were out. It was the big day for Barrichello, he finally had his first win for the Scuderia.

September 24, 2000 US GP Indianapolis,

It was Coulthard who jump-started in order to block Michael, so Häkkinen can have the lead. On lap 7, Michael was able to pass Coulthard but Häkkinen was still up in front. On lap 25, Häkkinen engine broke down and Schumacher had no more competition and won the US GP. Barrichello was in 2nd place.

Model shown was made by Gasoline. Only a few were made with no Gasoline markings.
One of my favored 2-car set is the BBR set which was produced for the US Pacific Ferrari Club. The 2-car set was limited to 100 pieces.

October 8, 2000 Japanese GP Suzuka,

It was Schumacher’s 8th win this year, a total of 98 championship points.
That was enough to win the 2000 World title for the Scuderia Ferrari.
After winning the title, his crew placed a black #1 on the front nose cone of his car.

First model shown is a OMF model, notice, it has a black #1 on front nose.

Second model/set shown was built by BBR for MakeUp. The set has an all leather base and leather lapel “World Champion 2000”. Also the Suzuka track is printed on the leather base.
Third set was built by the late Umberto Masciliano. That set had 2 BBR models and a Ferrari F1 engine mounted. A very unusual set and only a few of them were built.

Winner of the GP was Schumacher.
It was a great year for Michael, nine wins and the World Title.

In the year 2001, the Scuderia Ferrari developed a new F1 the “F-2001”.

The 2001 F1 season saw Ferrari copy the clean sweep of the 2000 season, dominating even more than in the previous season. Ferrari secured both titles with four races left in the season at the Hungaroring. Michael Schumacher won 9 of the 17 races and clinched his 4th title.

It was February 2001, when Ferrari showed the new F-2001 to the press.
Model shown is a BBR-MS43 press version which was built by the late Umberto Masciliano. (Umberto used to work for BBR and managed the Gasoline shop, he later started his own shop building his brand “Motorsport Studio 43”).

March 4, 2001 Australian GP, Schumacher hat an excellent start and had his 1st win for this season.

March 18, 2001 Malaysian GP, It was a chaos race, on second lap the rain purred down heavily, several drivers were spinning of track, but on the end Schumacher and Barrichello finishing 1st and 2nd place.
Model shown is a BBR-BG227 and a OMF built version.

April 1, 2001 Brazil GP, Schumacher made 2nd place.
April 15, 2001 San Marino GP, Schumacher had tire problems, no score!
April 29, 2001 Spanish GP, Schumacher was 1st .

May 27, 2001 Monaco GP, Schumacher was leading from the start to finish 1st place.
Model is a OMF built.

June 10, 2001 Canadian GP, Ralf Schumacher was the winner and Michael was 2nd place.

June 24, 2001 Europe GP at the Nürburgring, Michael Schumacher scored 1st place.
Model shown is a OMF built.

July 1, 2001 French GP Magny-Cours, Another 1st place for Michael.
Model shown was built by Yellow an Italian builder.

July 15, 2001 British GP Silverstone, Häkkinen 1st, Schumacher 2nd place.
July 30, 2001 German GP Hockenheim, Schumacher out do to an accident. No score!

August 19, 2001 Hungarian GP, Schumacher 1st and Barrichello 2nd place.
After winning that race, Schumacher clinched his 4th world-champion title.

September 2, 2001 Belgian GP Spa-Francorchamps, it was in round five when Burti (Prost-Acer) hit Irvine (Ferrari) it was a spectacular accident and the race had to be stopped. After the new-start, Michael was leading the bulk and won the race.

September 16, 2001 Italian GP Monza, due to 9/11 Ferrari had painted there cars with a black nose and no sponsors on both of there cars. It was a winning day for Montoya. Schumacher was 4th. Models shown is a OMF with Schumacher figure, and a Gasoline LIBO1 set with Schedoni leather base.

September 30, 2001 US GP, The winner was Häkkinen, Schumacher was in 2nd place.
Model shown with drivers figure was special built by a shop in California.

October 14, 2001 Japanes GP Suzuka, to make it short, Michael was the winner.
Model shown is a BBR-MS43, and a BBR-MakeUp set with 2 models and Schumi figure.

That concludes the year 2001. What a fantastic year for the Scuderia Ferrari and Michael Schumacher as the new four time World Champion.

First of all I want to thank you ENZO Rob, pawlie and rodolfo for the nice comments in regards to my Schumacher collection.

Few years ago I started making a list of all the BBR F1 models and sets, as well as other F1 brands in 1/43, 1/20 and 1/12 scale. The list took allot of resurge and the final result is a “F1 Collectors List” for F1 Ferrari extreme collectors.
The collectors list starts with the BBR models 641 up to the present. Each model listed will tell you the model number, type, drivers name, GP, year and how many were made.
Each category is by year. Total list has 8 pages.

Interesting list, but has no hand built F1 models in 1/43 scale.
