Since most of you have seen my Schumacher F1 collection, I like to show now my prior Schumacher era collection. This collection consist of factory built BBR and my own hand built Bosica and MakeUp versions. To start of this thread; shown are my hand built Bosica 156/85 version and a MakeUp 412T Ferrari. Comments and critic are welcome. wolfman Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
These parts in 1:43 are soooooo small! To much for me! Bought a Feeling43 once.... looked in the box... sold it! The Bosica has working steering! saw it and couldn't believe my eyes!
My next old-timer shown is a BBR-Idea 641, Alain Prost Brazil 1990. Model is mounted on tan Schedoni leather base. This model is very rare, the FIAT background is red, normaly it has a blue background. wolfman Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hans is correct, the Bosica 156/85 steering is working! Working with 1/43 scale models is delicate and patient hobby , specially the open version. In this forum you have a handful professional super builders which have a respectable name. Myself, I just built for fun . Thanks for the comment Hans! wolfman
It just hit me that these are 1/43, I thought they were bigger because of the amazing detail! Very impressive!
My next model is a Gasoline 641-2, Alain Prost French GP 1990. BBR-Gasoline made this special 641-2 as the 100th win for Ferrari. Unfortunately, Gasoline plaques were made very simple at that time. wolfman Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
One of my older builds is a Tameo 642, Prost Monaco 1991. Original carbon was used on the base! wolfman Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
One of my favored in the 640 series is the 643 version. The model shown was built by OMF, it represents Alesi at the Spanish GP 1991. wolfman Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wolfman, I think you really belong in the top 3 of best modelcar builders. Keep up the superb work, and post as many pics as possible Lex
Here is another 641-2 version from BBR-BG02. Nigel Mansel Portugese GP 1990. The base is solid and nicely made. wolfman Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The shown Ferrari 642 San Marino GP 1991, is an older Tameo factory built model. The Prost driver figure was made by Crittenden of Racing Dioramics. I like that model with rain tires mounted kind of looks need. wolfman Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mr.Wolfman, You have a beautiful and unique Ferrari collection. I cannot see any 50's and 60's Ferrari models there. I like the history of that era as well. Is the earlier era of Ferrari history not your cup of tea? Or have you just not gotten around to it yet?
Thank you Alfred. Sorry, but my collection on F1 cars dont go that far back. My oldest models are the 312T Ferraris in two scales. I started my interest with the Bosica kits of the 156/85 and worked my way slowly up in years. Even though, a few models are still missing in my BBR collection, but Im working on that subject. My main interest are the newer Ferrari F1 starting with the year 1982. wolfman
Hallo Gerd I was always wondering wich is the oldest F 1 car you own I love the 50 es with all the problems they had - hot exhaust pipes , rain from the tires , where to put the gasolinetank and the 60 es with the beginning of the aerodynamic parts - wings , spoilers and exotic parts I am reading both threads since the beginning you own a fantastic and impressive collection thanks for showing us Christian
The BBR-BG05, 642 Monaco GP 1991, Alesi. This model is also mounted on the BBR earlier solid base. wolfman Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hallo Christian, Thank you in regards to my collection. There are several F1 fans who have followed my thread on Fchat. Some of those collectors probably have never seen some of my older models before, so here is the opportunity to see them. I know there seems to be quite bid collectors on Fchat, who really like those old F1 cars from the 50s and 60s. I personnel not that much interested in the really old F1 cars from the 50. However, I did purchase a Scharknose-156 made by CMC. This version I have, is the Graf Berghe von Trips car German GP 1961. Von Trips always has been my idol. In fact I have several older CMC F1 models. In 1/43 scale my oldest ones are the 312T series from MakeUp. As most of you folks know. Im also big Schumi fan, so whatever BBR or Tameo produces on Schumacher, I will defiantly be interested to have that model in my collection. Regardless what type, kit or factory built. Gerd
