PV's car has a burgundy interior.

That's sad to see, of course it wasn't just a crash, it was a "Ferrari crash."

    Gotta love the media spin.

Media is not saying the woman was in the Ferrari, simply that she was in one of the vehicles.

Yes I understand that, but why couldn't it have been a "Crash" as opposed to a "Ferrari crash."

When was the last time we heard of a "Commodore crash" lol

But the word Ferrari is clickbait, so the media will take the opportunity every time.

Someone in the 308 section has the avatar of a newspaper headline: "China Ferrari Orgy Death Crash", which kinda covers it all.

I read she was the passenger in the 360. The driver was in hospital.

A death is always sad. Had a property in Avon Road many years ago, and it is not a road that I would speed on.

No evidence that speeding was involved. The media wants us to jump to that conclusion with it's "high powered sports car" language. Does not look like a high speed impact to me.

Only takes a damp patch or some gravel to slide off a tight corner, or swerving to avoid wildlife.

According to Vic Police every accident is speed related because of you weren't moving it wouldn't have happened.

You could see the responders looking through the owners manual packet and leafing through red covered manuals. Looking for what, who knows? Reports say the two injured females, one of whom died, were in the sedan.

Not criticising your post - just the behaviour of the media.

My (complete guess) is that the 360 understeered off the bend in the background and met the ford coming the other way. The ford panicked and pulled left, guaranteeing impact. If he'd steered right would not have hit the passenger door.

Even if you get t-boned at only 40kmh, you're probably not going to survive, because your head hits the window as the car moves sideways under you. Hence curtain air bags.

Most people don't know how to recover understeer, they just jump on the brakes and make it worse. A tragedy for all involved.

If the Ferrari understeered there was too much speed involved in this accident, maybe not for you Ian but for the driver in this case.
