Hot diggidy!!! The new rebuild is done and it runs good and strong. A little fine tuning and I'll be ready for a beautiful Fall season of top off weather!

Great work, you don't often see QV engines that clean.

Good job on the engine detailing, looks clean. Is it a Frame oil filter there?

Thanks all, I'll get some more pics out soon. I haven't driven it since I brought it to NC from PA 5/08 and started the restoration. It was probably in very similar condition to the 16k beater on fleabay right now, but I think I've turned it around. I'm in the Triangle area and hopefully will make a show at the Cars and Coffee mtg. of TIME soon.

BTW, that is a crappy FRAM filter on there now, but it was a spare one I was given for the car when I bought it and thought I'd put it on there for the frist hundred miles of so, then change the oil and put a good filter on. I saw a comparison test someone did on filters one time (cut them in half when done) and FRAM did the poorest job, but should pick up any debris that got knocked loose from the engine pull/work.
