was wondering if anyone has pictures of classy 50s and 60s style Nardi wheels installed on a 355 ?

    Is such an installation possible?

My 355 is the classic red and tan and the design imho has certain retro elements to it, I was think of heightening the retro appeal and installing a Nardi (or if you know of others) wooden Ferrari wheel but I don't know if anyone has done it or if it is possible or not. I did a google search that gave me a couple of websites selling the wheels but they are not with the Ferrari logo and I don't know if they can be made to fit the setup on the 355.

I want to get something that really nice that represents the racing heritage of Ferrari from a by gone era without making the car and the interior look tacky.

    Any ideas???

Firstly your biggest problem is that the 355 has airbags and all the wooden wheels I have seen are just the normal 6 hole fitting with the hole for the horn button, unless you went for a custom made one

Secondly personally I think the 355 looks far too modern for one, I see a Mondial with one and thought it looked odd, Jmho

Couldnt you get the dealer to de-activate the drivers airbag and then the steering wheel could be removed without it goin off. Then fit the normal wooden wheel, without the airbag. My friends have done it before a couple of times, because they dont like the standard steering wheels in their cars and airbags are more trouble than they are worth. Not sure how your insurance company would like you remvoving your airbag but....... Better look into that 1st my friend. :)
