Hey guys, Does anyone know what is the mysterious work light receptacle in glove box. It is smaller than cigarette lighter; looks proprietary connection. Would be nice to get my hands on said work light, did not get one with the car. Any idea where to get one? Bart
Can't buy them except maybe used newer models like mine came with flashlight. The owners manual has a spot for flashlight
I have one that I will sell you for the low Ferrari price of $1MIL Let me know soon as there will be many in line behind you. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
At that price I will take a couple ;-) Looks like this one you pictured plugs into the cigarette lighter. The other one I think has smaller plug but same light. Anyway thank you!
Heavens, your car is not factory complete! A ding at the next concour! I have rarely run into a 348 at a Concour that has one, and I usually just deduct .5, and let the owner know. I also believe that Chucabra, who has 82589 now, should have one, AND it's little black carry bag, tucked neatly away in the glove box!
Extreme's may not be correct - it has the cigarette lighter plug - your socket is probably a weird Euro phono - in which case the correct light is USD 2 million as its far rarer ! Here's the photo I posted in 308 yesterday too Image Unavailable, Please Login
The 348 one was different from the earlier versions. I have pictures on both on the Ricambi America site. 348 : 142397 (NLA): 142397 EMERGENCY LIGHT : Ricambi America : Ferrari Parts 308/328/Mondial/TR: 40179202 (NLA) : 40179202 AID LAMP : Ricambi America : Ferrari Parts Beware eBay listings, and make sure you're getting the proper one for your vehicle. They look the similar, but they're not. .
But 142397 has the cigarette lighter plug doesn't it ? So is this a third variant - also referred to here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/139851270-post29.html
