    Just a heads up for those looking for something to do this weekend. Ferrari of Austin and FCA Hill Country Chapter are sponsoring the "World of Ferrari" at the Circuit of Americas this Sunday, June 12th.

    From HCC...
    Bring your cars to COTA at noon because we have invited the public to come experience the "World of Ferrari." We are teaming up with Ferrari of Austin to host this event to support CC4C, an organization that works with children with serious medical conditions.

    We will be simulcasting live the Canadian Grand Prix on the huge screen in the Velocity Lounge which we hope will be packed. Parking will be immediately behind the main grandstand (free!)

    And at 3:00, you will have the option to purchase some basic lapping on the track for $65. But this one is different. We would like you to purchase the lapping option and then put a child in your car for the experience - a child who has a dire medical condition, one who's only dream is to wake up tomorrow and be cured. This is giving back something to those who will most likely never have this option. This isn't the speed runs we all want but it is a great option to get on the track if you haven't driven it yet and to share that experience.

    Noon: arrive at Lot A and park your Ferrari
    1PM Velocity Lounge to watch the Gran Prix
    3PM Laps around the track - take a kid!

    We had a super time at COTA today for the Hill Country Chapter F1 watch party. The cars were great, and my grandson, Jordan, especially loved driving on the parking lot autocross.

    Special thanks to FCA Hill Country Chapter President Andy Fish, Ferrari of Austin, Speed City Broadcasting, their special assistants, and CC4C for all the work putting the event together. I hope we get to do it again.
