Cool, but leave it to Motor Trend to have no Lamborghini and a non-ZR1 Corvette.
It is funny how slow the BMW and Evora looks when they cross the line.

it is what it are... they even said it was not serious... they did it because the could... for grins... runway was 11 cars wide... probably the first 11 cars to sign up were in... thought is was good enough... 11 sec 1/4 mile is very good in most crowds... short of keeping score, pick the one that turns you on, they all are winners

Maybe you'll like this one better, this air strip wasn't so dust covered so AWD had less of an advantage. ZR1 could have had a better launch though

    Interesting:

    GTR 121.8 MPH
    458 125.6 MPH

I guess the 458 was slow getting off the line, but was catching up quickly.

Launch control vs. clutch leg, not really a fair race even though the ZR1 has a hp advantage.

I don't care for the ADD inspired video editing. Just show the damn race without changing views every .2 seconds. That helicopter view would have been great the entire time.

Too bad they didn't do a best of 3 runs, let the drivers get a better feel for the car :)

I thought the same thing, ZR1 also has launch control. I wonder why they didn't use it. Maybe because it destroys the clutch like on previous Ferrari's?

    Its a ZO6, not a ZR1!

no...that was a zr-1 but clearly not driven well as there is ZERO chance of a 458 leaving a zr-1 for dead like that.

Regardless of who won, the 458 still looked the best.

GTR really does eat super cars for breakfast, best car ever built (for the money).

458 finishes 1/10th behind the GTR, but with a higher trap speed; highlights the benefit of AWD.

my neighbor has a modded, 620 bhp GTR, he readily admits it scares the hell out of him

There was a GTR running at Miller Motorsports Park last week and it was just too quiet for my liking. It sounded like a Dyson, whereas the Ford GT actually hurt my ears as it went by.

Have you been ingesting something like your user name? :)

It is an amazing car, but 1/10th of a second and traps speeds of GTR 121.8 MPH
458 125.6 MPH, is not eating the 458 "for breakfast".
