(Associated Press) "A model of the Starship Enterprise used in the pilot and title sequences of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" sold for $576,000 Saturday at an auction of costumes, sets and props from 40 years of the "Star Trek" sci-fi franchise."

I'm pretty sure the buyer could buy a pretty nice Ferrari to carry his ship home in. I think I blew up every model I owned as a child with firecrackers! Since I have never seen an episode of Star Trek or any of the movies I would like to help the buyer blow this one up!

aww, come on, next you're going to tell me the tooth fairy isn't real, and something as out there as that it was my mom putting that money under my pillow! i don't believe a word you say, sir.

lol, the guy that bought that model, i'm sure, could still afford to have probably a couple of enzo's in his driveway if he doesn't already, how else is he gonna impress the ladies?
