What is that, like .09 caliber? Doubt it could do much, if any real damage, save being shot in the eye. Neat conversation piece, though.

Neat looking conversation piece. Is it available in US? If not, anyone know the rules of importing firearms?

I'd wear it as a piece of jewelry around my neck.

I'm willing to bet a Daisy bb gun would hurt more than that. It would make some cool jewelry, though.

Here's a comment I found from the mfr:

"The US Department of Justice has informed us that our miniature cannot be imported to the United States of America. It is too small. It can be imported to Canada. The steel model is delivered with 24 blank and 24 live cartridges. It’s cost is CHF 6’500.– For any further information please contact us."

And here's a report of the police being warned to be on the lookout for it on the street...

    http://blogs.abcnews.com/theblotter/2006/08/a_new_gun_in_to.html

CHF 6500 is over US$5K! At that price this gun is more likely to be seen on Rodeo Drive, not the streets of Baltimore!

Edit: the above comment mentioned the "steel model". Here's a more upscale model...

"Police officers have been advised to watch out for the gun, which fires miniature ammunition that could take an eye out at close range."

What's next: Felony Running with Scissors?

Next we learn to defend society against a dangerous felon armed with a bunch of bananas!

A lot of $$ but considering 5 grand is toward the lower end for best-make Swiss watches, not surprising.

The "upscale" model...well, that guarantees this little toy will show up in the US.

Hmm...you could probably easily import that in if you're a keychain toy retailer. Just throw it in the box with the rest. I have a mini-revolver keychain, but it's obviously not real.

It's not the customary looking trigger. That one is for looks and doesn't move. The trigger is the entire piece and that extended portion that usually doesn't move and your finger would normally go in that. For this, your finger doesn't go inside any kind of metal ring, it's just an open trigger.

Edit: The circled yellow part is where you put your finger and pull back. The yellow line above that is where it hinges.
