    I read a LOT of books commuting in the train. I noticed that in the last one or two years, LOADS of unbelievably bad books came on the market. I'm a fast reader, so I usually get a stack of 10 books from the library. Some years ago, I read maybe 8 of them and brought the other 2 straight back. Now, it's maybe 5 to 5. Obviously it doesn't require ANY skill anymore to convince publishers to print your book. Especially frightening is that the worst books are those which announce on the cover that the film rights already have been sold...
