what is the worst, most underserved of the name, Ferrari, of all time...

And, does it then make it the best value Ferrari of all time????

A few spring to mind... the 308GT4; Mondial; 348...

All mostly unloved. All a relative bargain to be had...

Considering I've owned two of those three I reckon they are bargains to be had...

well i've only been in a handful of Ferrari's but the 'best value' of them has to be the GT4, Ferrari or not it's a great car

I would have to agree with your choices, except for the 348 which to me is not one of the worst Ferrari's. I actually think it looks great, never been in one so I can't judge its performance.

I've also never really been a fan of the 400/400i/412i - again I've never riden in one though.

I'm an unashamed fan of the early to mid 60s 2+2 models: 250GTE and 330 GT 2+2 (Series 1&2). I think they have long been the affordable way to experience the magic of 60s V12 Ferrari music. From what I've gathered, the 250GTEs have become somewhat desirable (pushing prices up) and the 330s are hot on its trail. Hopefully, the days of destroying these noble cars in order to produce yet another faux 250TR or 250 GTO, are over!

Pertaining to more modern times, without doubt the 348 springs to mind as an under-appreciated example of the marque. I think they are aesthetically attractive, and (without having actually driven one), seem to be rather raw and involving, what with no power steering, etc. I'll take a 348CH (factory, no less) imported for an inflated price from the UK, thanks! ;):D

One F-Car I've not been a fan of is the 400... just does not do anything for me, unfortunately.

yeah was never much of a fan but i've been growing to like them over the last 6 months the more i see them. the interior is CRAP though. couple months ago i was checking out a 308 and that was great all nice knobs and dials and levers and stuff, the 348 i checked out was crappy plastic buttons like in a mitsubishi i hated it.

I personally love the 348 also, I love that side profile, with vents/fins like a TR. Looks great imo.

I also have a soft spot for Modials. I love that chunky 80's look.

I have no idea on their abilities as a car though......

worst Ferrari... Mond 8 coupe or QV cabriolet. (QV coupe ok)

    Best value....

my 512BB carb at only 35,000 GBP ONO!!

365/400 series can be good. So many of them under perform due to stretched timing chains and consequential bad cam timing. Not pretty, but screeching around Paddock Hill bend at Brands Hatch (or any great corner) with a whole turn of opposite lock on for about 7-8 seconds in a perfectly controllable slide due to the long wheelbase, long throttle travel and weight distribution... is a great thing!!

246 wins style-wise over nearly anything on the planet, but i've never driven or even pax'd in one.

    i'd take a GT4 over almost anything under $100k.

Suspect we've missed the 330 bargain time - I recall 3 years ago when I was shopping a couple were available for around the $65k mark (no idea about condition). Perfect one selling (in fact sold I believe) now for around the $150k mark...

$150k used to be the preserve of the 250GTE...If 330s are now exchanging hands at that price, where are the 250GTEs at? Oh well, you're right; the boat has sailed off. Three to five years ago would have been the time to buy.
