    Would Ferraris be less expensive if there was no "authorized dealerships" worldwide? For example, if you desired a 430 instead of purchasing through a dealer, you had to buy factory direct. You filled out the forms, gave them a check, your car was built to comformaty for the market it was shipped to(US/UK/CAN) and you found you own means of shipping it to a port of entry with proper DOT/EPA papers. Anyone know what the mark up is on a F-CAR from a dealer? Thank you

    I think that's the case with just about any product. Buying direct is always cheaper, buuuut, as Ferrari is concerned, it ain't gonna happen

    Ferraris are expensive because we, the market, make them that way. A mail order Ferrari would be cheaper for the factory, not for us.
