Would like to revert back to OEM radio head unit

    I really hate the look of the aftermarket radio/cd player that is in my car. I rarely listen to it (hard to hear over the magic of a Capristo!) anyway but I do have to look at the dang thing every time I drive the car.

    Anybody have an old OEM radio/head unit laying around they want to get rid of?

    OR, would this snap right in? I've read that the wiring harness is the same for 355 and 430...not sure if that is valid or not.

    A little spendy to just take care of the visuals...but I'm guessing there are cheaper options out there for sourcing a radio head unit. Any tips appreciated.

    I really doubt that this radio will simply snap in but I am sure you can fit it. It's the same one installed by Porsche in the Boxster and Carrera models in early 2000. It has sensors for the speed and increase / decrease the volume automatically. A little expensive but very nice thought ....

    If you rarely listen to it get the correct cassette version of the Becker/Ferrari and equip it with an ipod wire

    Some 355 also had a Sony cassette but I don't know how easily they can be equipped with an ipod wire
