I continue to be suspicious of the way Airbus programs their software, which seems to presume that the aircraft will always be smarter than the pilots, a philosophy which already seems to have produced some accidents that would probably not have happened on equivalent Boeing aircraft.

Consider the accident depicted in this recreation. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, the problems begin at 6:20 and the investigation results begin at 7:50. In the opinion of those here who know about these things, would this accident have happened on a 737?

Conducting min speed maneuvering tests at low altitude is not wise in any plane, irrespective of inoperable sensors. The second video states that the pilots reverted to manual mode prior to the final pitch over. So yes, it could have happened in a 737, or any airplane for that matter.
