ok that has nothing to do with it... isnt manu the only one posting on this thread that actually has an enzo??? If you dont have one then you cant post here??? Apparently you dont have one either so you have no point. Matt
Personally no, because I couldn't be bothered waiting for a new diff or gearbox (if one or both of them broke), which naturally would take ages to arrive. Also, if the car was out of warranty, they would have been a some very expensive doughnuts if something major broke. How much would a gearbox and electronic diff for the Enzo cost?
If you actually read my posts, you will see that I never commented about weather or not I would do that in my Enzo, because I don't have an Enzo. The ttile says "would you do this with ur enzo?" Maybe he should have titled it, "Would you do this if you owned an Enzo?" The fact is, you don't own an Enzo and nor do I, so nether one of us will be drifting in one anytime soon.
Fine if you must have it your way....If i had an Enzo i wouldnt be doin that. Is that good? Oh and i do have an Enzo...4 of em. Two 1:18 and 2 others(not sure of size) so there!!!! Matt
Just make sure when you go to sell the car you show the potential buyer the videos so they know what they are purchasing. LOL
Great video and great example of car control. Drifting is not the fastest way around the track (as Manu acknowledges) but definitely fun to do and watch. Doing this with a mid-engine car and 600Hp is quite impressive. I would do it in a heartbeat whether is were an Enzo or GTO, it's a good way of learning the limits of the car and perfectly fine since it's on a track and in a closed parking lot.. I do the same thing with my cars although they are less than tenth of the price of an Enzo...
Well if I owned an Enzo, I would indeed do that IF I COULD. Anyone here stop and think how hard it would be to do that in that car?? That's no S2000. It's a wide, heavier, high reving beast! I LOVED the video! And if I had the money to drive one like that, I would definitely learn to drive it like that!
i would do it too. living in mn and having the winters we do, drifting is sometimes not so much something you try to do all the time so you kinda have to get good at it. ive spent many an hour in empty parking lots that are covered in snow, and a few hours in parking lots that are dry, drifting arround and whippin ****ties. ive even gone so far as to set up cones and drift through them into various situations/parking positions. hell we even did it in the performance driving school i went to. i think its great practice for when you do loose control either on the street or track, you get a feel for how the car is going to react. i started doing it a short time after i nearly died in an accident that im sure i could of prevented with the practice i have under my belt now. it sure has saved my ass a couple of times since then. oh and to the driver...when i make my trip to italy in the near future i sure would love to see what it feels like riding in an enzo....sideways.
nice vid and i am very impressed at the drift that he held around the 180 degree left hander on the track...not easy with that much HP under foot... he did loose it a few times in the car park but at the end he held again nicely.don't know if it is good for the clutch though ? giddy up
fun video! i had a hard time watching it as iwas thining about all te rock chips and sand blasting going on...ugh!! that car will certainly be sold w/ the text saying..."the most abused enzo know to exist!" put a 01 and a confederate flag on that bad boy...yeee haaaa!
