If people on myspace are always honest, at least 80% of the 16-18 year olds in the world make over $250k/yr and drive Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Bentleys, etc...

IF its true it is way too much for a 16 year old. unless they are trained how to drive it, and they keep it on a track.

I would venture to say that 95% of the kids on there are lying. My firend and I always ask the ones nearby to come by and show their cars. The usual response is "it is in the shop" or "i sold it and am getting a ferrari." Anyone can take a picture with a car. I am sure we all have pictures with all sorts of nifty cars, that doesnt mean they belong to us.

I think he has it... telling by the comments.

Stupid-ass parents. I don't mind that it's a "16 year old"'s car, but damn, telling from his page/friends he's not exactly the most responsible person.

    Oh well.

    I wouldn't buy a 16 yo a regular WRX, let alone a modded STi.

I think his parents hate him and want to off him.

Way to much car for a 16 year old.
Im 18 and will be getting a 1982 Saab 900 Turbo real soon, that enough for me, for now ;). I get a kick out of my dad 9000 Aero (252 lb-ft torque) witch I find if more then enough for someone my age.

This reinforces my not-so-outrageous opinion that myspace is totally ghey.

Its sad, I still know 16 year olds with outrageous cars...

My Friends little brother who just turned 16 got a custom 2004 E55 with black 20" Lowenhart rims. Probably one of the most wreckess drivers too...

16 year old girl I know just got an 03 custom Range Rover
16 Year old just got the new Challenge M3

Most people on there don't lie just because anyone can find them and call the B/S on them. And it's a Subaru.

520hp makes me laugh. I know guys with over 1k horse and i would love to see them run him. If that kid lived by me id hate to say it buy I think his car would of been paintballed by now. Dont even get me started on racing a couple 600+hp cars here. I doubt that cars really 520hp I dont see any turbo difference but with all thaat shiny stuff and all those stickers i bet hes got nitrous. O ps I have a picture of a Ferrari 360 spider in my myspace but its my dads friends.

i think it just depends on the person. in highschool, one of my good friends worked 60+ hour weeks at a lawfirm every summer so that he could buy a 96 cobra, which he then built into a supercharged monster. he was extremely cool about it though, never bragged, never even really brought it up unless you asked him. and at the time, he was probably the best and most responsible driver i knew.

I would not buy that for a 16yo, because:

    1. It's an ugly piece of crap
    2. Exorbitant insurance costs
    3. Too much power for such an inexperienced driver

Even if the guy was a full-time up-and-coming racing driver in F3, GP2, etc, I still wouldn't get a car with that much power, because the temptation is too great to do something irresponsible on public roads...

That's true, it depends on if you let it go to your head or not. The highschool I went to is located where all of that seems worst, newport beach. My first car was a Mercedes and I really think I kept and still keep my cool with it. But I also had friends who thought they were rappers cause they had an escalade, and always bragged about how they "were sitting on 24's." You know, just keepin it real... :)
