But in another 10-20 years Alex's 400 will no longer exist. Someday in the future someone will start digging into it to try to restore it and they are going to find the car rusting from the inside out. Once the frame tubes start to dissolve there is nothing left, its not like a 250 that anyone is going to but that much work into to save. Just my opinion, but some of the Ferrari's that have been seen were rotted out far beyond repair. Look at the restoration work being done to the Daytona in the vintage section, and ask yourselves if anyone will ever bother to go to that extent with more mudane cars like 400's and the like.
Never drove my F-cars in the snow, but the Lambo AWD does good...here is a couple pics of a Superleggera in the snow from one of the guys in the UK.. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Watch those coolant temps. I've seen the same issues on the EVO in deep snow that took a Scooby out of the Swedish rallye a couple of years back: When you use the air dam as a snow plow, you can clog airflow to the intercooler and radiator. The Lambo doesn't have the intercooler, but you have to watch your radiator.
I am a WUS (wimp/Pu**y) on this one. No snow and no rain. Period. So I do not get to drive all that often as my car and family live over 134 miles away from me 5 outta 7 days a week. AND IT seems it ALWAYS RAINS in Germany on the weekends Luv my 5-er Bimmer in the snow. One DIFFICULT Mother to drive and great to stay in pratice on.
