ANOTHER spinoff of the ghost thread, but seeing all these posts about "I still wouldnt go there to this day" makes me wonder that if you knew for a fact that a certain place was haunted would you go? Personally, no. Hell no, infact, those thoughts creep me out.

There is a haunted cemetary where slaves were buried in the old days in Houston. Devil worshipers used to dig up bodies there. Its closed now due to all the satanic activity. I have been in the middle of the night. It's down a dark deserted road with no lights or signs. It's really scary at night.

This would depend upon what types of ghosts they are.

If they are hot naked women ghosts, I'd be all over it. Would I hit a hot naked ghost? I sure as heck would try! I'm not even sure how I would hit it, but it would be fun learning how to!

Other than that, the only ghosts I have dealt with are quiet ones, or the really annoying geists that polter on endlessly. Even the nosiy ones usually shut up when you threaten to kick their paranormal asses.

Ghosts are everywhere though. It's hard to walk 10 feet without seeing one, if you know how to look for them.

Since this is a spinoff of that topic...

I have no business, or let me rephrase, as a human creation it is best that I have nothing to do with them, for 'their' days are numbered until judgement day. They are stuck here on earth with us and since they have nothing but time on their hands to mess with us, they offer no source of relief, comfort let alone, salvation.

LOL......thanks for providing some humor to his subject. I just finished posting some of my own experience in the other thread. And even while I was doing so, I started to get goose bumps.

In a dream I had the other night, I was getting a BJ from a ghost while I was in the tub. Amazing, because she didn't even bend her ghostly knees whilst she was standing outside the tub itself. God, she was good. Anyway, my fiancee walked into the dream and got really mad when she too spotted this ghost. *Poof* the ghost was gone, just as my fiancee lunged for it/her, and I was left to confirm it was only a ghost (granted, a very, very attractive ghost, but a ghost nonetheless) and save the dreamlike relationship.

Actually, both my mom and I think the old garage at my parents' house is haunted, the husband of the former owner died in the garage; officially, he drove home one night after an evening of drinking, pulled the car into the garage and closed the garage door using the remote while he was still sitting in his car, however, he passed out with the engine running and died from carbon monoxide poisoning; unofficially, i have heard it may have been suicide. Both my mom and I have had falls down the stairs in the old house before we tore it down, and both times it was as if we were pushed. My sister actually witnessed my header down the stairs and over the hand rail and swears it looked like I was pushed. I'm going to tear down part of the old garage and rebuild it with an addition; perhaps that will let the old man out.

And no, I was not holding a crack pipe at any time around writing this reply, nor have I ever. The same for bongs

You all probably have been in such place. Most any old town has ghost tours and they claim half the houses are haunted. Ever been to the Jennie Wade house in Gettysburg? They claim it is haunted big time.

It makes the trip more interesting. I love abandoned places/perhaps haunted places. Most of the time there is nothing to the haunted rumors, but it is still fun to go with friends, explore and scare each other.

I went on the midnight haunted tour of Savannah a few years ago and it was awesome. Pretty cool stories down there.

For those that are into this type of stuff, NJ is chock full if creepy places. I have a subscription to a magazine called Weird NJ that chronicles everything bizarre about our state. Their website is www.weirdnj.com and it's a lot of fun to surf. Some of the stories are very creepy and they have tons of photos too. Worth a look.

I would go to a haunted place if there is a good story there. Sadly half the stuff they tell you in the haunted tours are usually made up or really far off from what really happened.

to answer the thread question, i have no problem bieng around ghosts or the areas they haunt. Savannah has been here since 1733, we have a well documented spectral history, there is a book called "Savannah Specters" i have no clue who wrote it though. there are ghost type tours for the tourists by carriage all through the historic district. the pre Civil War history is scary.

i have a few feelings to share, but it will put them in the other thread when i have time.
