I would never ever even think about doing something like that. I am only 31 yet but even when I am 50, I think that I will still prefer the real sports car over the comfortable, big engine car.
Plus, the Bentley is all about BLING, IMO... But the 360 (or any other F-Car for that matter) is about driving... Ok ok, it is also a little bit about BLING but not entirely... The more important thing in owning an F-Car IMO, is the driving enjoyment that you can not get from many other cars..

No. I would keep the 360 and add a DB9 instead. To me the DB9 is much more beautiful and desirable than the GT for about the same cash. Why buy a 360 in the first place if you don't want a hard core sports car?

Don't ask me, I would trade a 360 for a Dodge station wagon and take the money left over and buy a 550 or some other 12 cylinder Ferrari, or at least an 8 cylinder one that looked decent. As you may be able to tell, I have still not warmed up the the looks of the 360. But, different strokes and all that; I'm sure they're fine cars?

For me the Bentleys & Rolls will never be the same car again. Keep in mind of the BMW influence & it shows. Let’s see how the resale numbers are, within 5 years & you will understand why. Keep the 360.

the bent. is a pretty car but i agree, the db9 is better looking and lighter and still a great gt car....the 360 is a different car... a hard core sports car that eggs you on to driver faster and faster...the gts are for fast luxury.... i ll take one of each please...and a lambo murci to go!!!

The salesman is full of it!
DB9 leaves Bentley standing still at any speed and 360 does the same to DB9.

Sounds like your dad's car use parameter had changed. If he need 4 seats, the luxo ride, and just one car, go for it.

Same here. Sports cars (real sports cars) forever!!!! Til I die!! Even if I start to have kidney or back problems! (God forbid)

The Continental GT is a really nice looking car IMO. BUT, it's no Ferrari. I wouldn't even think of trading a Modena for a GT, or any Bentley for that matter. But of course, as mentioned before, it depends on the purpose of the car and the preferences of your dad.

The DB9 is also a very sexy looking car. Saw one at the L.A. Auto Show in a beautiful shade of blue. Don't know whether I like the GT or the DB9 better though.

But would take a Modena over both of these in a heartbeat!!

Trading a 360 for Bentley gt is pretty much an indication
that one is "going over hill". Don't take my opinion do

The continental is not your grandfathers bentley. The car will smoke the 360 anywhere besides the track. The idea that this is a car for the over the hill set is from people that don't know what they are even discussing.

Trading in a 360 modena for a Bentley GT is like trading in Miss America for Mrs. America (a divorcee with 2 kids that are not yours)...

Hope this is not too harsh of an analogy.

Yes on paper things, the specs may look good for a GT (It is like your grandfather who got a whole of package of Viagra and is going to Vegas for the weekend).

Your comment is baseless and not supported by not one published test nor by my own "seat of the pants" experience ,since I've driven both.
Cancelled my #2 spot for the GT after being really disappointed with it.

No way, would rather keep the 360.

I've seen a few GT's on the road and don't think thay look very nice plus it has vw parts (the key is the same as a vw golf).

A customer at my previous job had a GT on order in exchange for his 360 spider!

I have driven both as well and I guess our "seat of the pants gauges" are different. You guys can make excuses all you want. Don't feel too bad, its not a 40k vette that is puting a beating on you it is a 160k old mans bentley! You are talking about a 500+ hp v12 and a 400hp 8. Its ok!

All the horspower in the World means zilch, when coupled with a "sport coupe" weighing more then full size SUV.
On paper it looks good,in real life this car is a pig.
