Awwww, c'mon...dial-up is frustrating! I can't think of anything frustrating about driving a manual! Progress is fine. Fun is better!
Well that depends, and you buying a 430 because you so enjoy the experience of driving one, or do you one want so you can say I drive a Ferrari and people will stare at you. If it is the latter, well trust me that gets old after about a week, unless you really have a poor self image. I have never owned a Caymen, (have had 39 other Porsche's) and had a 430 coupe too, and if it were me I'd turbo charge the Caymen take out all the other crap modern cars have and you will have a car that will likely be at least as good as a 430. Unless you're fairly well off spending over 100K for a car you can not drive everyday is not a smart thing to do.
Thanks for all the feedback! I'm still undecided though. After a couple of weeks of snow I'm going to check out a couple of 430's this saturday... Porsche salesguy also told me a new Cayman is scheduled for next year.. Hmm...
