    Mine would.

I just had to share this.

My fiancee sold another house today and when she came home she asked me what I was looking at (coincidentally browsing F-car ads on Ebay out of boredom). I told her what I was up to and she asked me which one I would buy for myself. I pointed out a red 12k mile F355 coupe and she said, "that's pretty, why don't you go out and buy yourself one? Does anyone sell them around here?"

I said, "Okay, whatever. You're really funny."

She said, "I'm serious. How much is that thing? I'll give you half right now. Why don't you enjoy yourself for once?" I just shrugged and she said, "Don't be too surprised if you come home one day and see that car in the garage. I really mean it. The look on your face would be worth every penny." And she walked away.

I swear I'd throw her out if she ever did anything like that. Eh, maybe not. LOL.

    Anyway, I think I picked a winner. :)

I am engaged to a gindergarden teacher. I think she has the heart and the love to do that...just not the funds! The ferrari thing will have to be up to me. Lucky you and enjoy that 355!

She did! Bought me my 328 for my B-day last year...I bought her a Winnebago for hers. Although hers cost more, has two more cylinders, 30 more HP and 19" wheels, I think I made out in the deal! :)

Jordan, good for you!!! It's going to mean that much more to you WHEN you get it!

Thanks, its going to be a while unfortunately because in elementary school I had the stupidity to pick the largest orchestral instrument to play...So I always need a car to transport it in. Miraculously I can fit my bass (7.5 ft. tall) in my Mustang but it means I cant see outside of the right side of my car very well so driving it is a religious experience. If it werent for the instrument I could sell my car and pretty easily pay for/finance the difference a good 308 GT4 and I wouldnt have to worry about getting a practical sized car for my instrument.

So like it says in my signature Im looking for a good, sporty, cheap wagon that I can upgrade to and hopefully keep and enjoy for a long time. Once my practical car is taken care of all I have to do is save up and wait for my Ferrari! Id like to buy one for myself in 4 years :)

    Jordan,

I have NO doubt you'll make that 4-year goal! Although, I have this image in my mind of a nice 308/328 GTS (top off, of course) going down the road with that bass protruding 5 feet above the roofline...It's gotta happen. :)

All I know is I realized I hit the jackpot when I discovered not only did she look fantastic in an evening dress, but she could also repair lawn equipment!

Never seen anything like that before.

G just confirmed that she'd buy me one, five, or ten! I'd say she was a fast woman if she wouldn't get offended by that statement..

Of course, the "doing" and the "wishing" are two different things, but that's not exactly the question, is it? ;)

My wife let me have a big enough allowance to get the last two Ferraris. Does that count?

It's a total step in the right direction if ANY woman will allow you to pursue and enjoy your hobbies. I have way too many guy friends whose wives, girlfriends and significant others' won't let them out of their sight for a minute. These chicks insult their hobbies and whine about not "getting enough attention".

That's no way to live. If this sounds like you - run.

Homegirl will probably outearn me this year - and I'm having a good year!!

Soon I'll be the boy-toy/sex slave-for-money/man-of-leisure I've always dreamed of becoming.

Never mind buying me one. Does your woman want to help you wash, wax and work on your Ferrari when you need a hand ? Mine does and I'd rather have that than have her buy me one :p

    I didn't ask for anything.

There may be an argument of some sort if this ever did happen. Not like I would ever get in the way of such unabashed charity. ;), but she needs to save her money - she'll thank me later. The way I see it, whatever the donation, it could be invested in some way, shape or form.
