    Fellas,

    First off a special thx to Uconn Jay for letting me get the first 5.2 shipment!!! Below are a few pix of the headers installed with the engine still on the stand. I will post a few more after the engine has been installed in the car... I have to say if these headers perform even half as good as they look we are all in for a TREAT!!! This is what it should look like when you open the engine lid of the 355, now all we need are some nice (affordable) carbon fiber air intake covers!!!Also thanks to Jay at Fabspeed for working with us on the group buy...

    First pic shows the originals with the valve/cam covers removed. The last two are the heat shields the tech at the shop fabbed up to help protect the alternator and the oil tank...

    It's amazing how a bit of chrome can just set off those red cam covers. Man that looks good. How much will you be able to see once the engine is in and plumbing and lines are hooked up?

    Looks fantastic Sonny, can't wait for mine. I'm jealous of that workshop, I'm in a cramped 35F garage! Let us know how the rest of the exhaust bolts up.

    For other guys who want in, they're holding the group buy price for a few weeks.

    Sonny had no time for coating; wrap seems to be bad news and will fail the headers sooner...mine are shipping to me uncoated and I'll likely have them coated locally.

    Yep no coating and I think wrapping them would take a lot away from the look... I just going to go for it!!! I have to say it is just amazing to see them in real life...

    Thanks Dave... I have to give it to the Techs at RTGT that came up with shields... Everything came together pretty quick.

    Yep.. Placed the order yesterday and got them this morning.. I figured hey, they saved us some cash on the group buy so lets just get the bling to daddy a little quicker.. Plus my car is ready to be put back together...

    P.S. They won't look like that the first time it runs for an hour.....They turn GOLD which looks even nicer!!!
