    A big fire in Eastern Washington is raging. I lived there for seven years, know lots of people. I still have property in the area, but its on the other side of town away from the fire. Its near a Wal-Mart, do have a friend who lives in the neighborhood behind the store. I had orchards and took fruit to Blue Bird, they have lost a building. I'm surprised the major news networks haven't run the story, an American town threatened by fire should be big news.

    I didn't even hear about this. We have a rager here right now that is creeping a little close, but it seems like they are getting a handle on it.

    Fox News briefly mentioned it this morning, also the California and other fires. You'd think two big businesses going up in flames and 28 homes would be bigger news.

    So far don't know anyone who lost their home. Do however know lots of employee's of one of the businesses burned. I had a pear/apple/cherry orchard and sent my fruit to Blue Bird. So know warehouse people, accounting to the president of the company. Losing a big plant is going to cost a lot of jobs. Also the fruit in storage now lost. It will be a several million dollar loss.
