    LA for now,NJ really
Haven't surfed lambos on ebay for a few months but just did a search today and YIKES, talk about a nice selection. Look at this twin turbo roadster:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-Lamborghini-Diablo-Roadster-Twin-Supercharged_W0QQitemZ170129463189QQihZ007QQcategoryZ6290QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

and it's in woodland hills near me, too bad i've never seen it? Who owns this beast? Chris, we should get him to come to some of the lambo runs!

And what's up with this '02 murci going for $189.9K w/4K miles on it??

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-MURCIELAGO-6-SPD-ONLY-4K-MILES-EXC-COND-LAMBO-DEALER_W0QQitemZ180138679952QQihZ008QQcategoryZ6290QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Must be a great time to be looking for lambos! At the same time it's kinda strange to see some 6.0s surpass murcis in price. Are there any other instances where a previous model became more expensive than the latter just 5 years after the introduction of the newer model?

You're right, that speedo change definitely affects the price. Here's another one to replace the murci:

    same one on roy's website:

AND THE 15K service was done!! I can't believe the 15K service cost $15K.

Wouldn't be suprised if you see this with later model Gen I vipers (GTS) become more valuable than early model GenII vipers sometime in the future.

Couldn't agree more--I recently sold my '97 C4S with 15k miles for more than a comparable 997 with the same miles!!!

Some Gen IIs already surpass Gen IIIs

Gen Is are really low now, don't know if they will ever surpass the Gen IIs...the Gen IIs are going for nearly double Gen Is

Probably a fake; no contact info and no prior sales but all the sudden has a very unusual Diablo to sell?

That is a bit strange, but then again, even older Diablos have kept their resale values as high as their original prices.

I notice a good number of them but also see that hardly any of the 04 or 05 Gallardos are selling. Looks like a bunch of bids on some, just still below the reserve.

Here's one I saw on Ebay, and is why you don't rush perfection.

That's almost as good as a Murcie gets... yellow caliper needs to be black or silver, then it'd be my fav!

actually if you talk to the dealers, its rare that they actually close the deal via ebay. most of the time the people contact the dealers directly and do the deal that way. ebay is really just used for marketing the cars to a wide audience.
