#15 Rutgers beat #3 Louisville 28-25 with a last minute field goal which they missed at first but got to try again because of a penalty on Louisville. So the Big East doesn't have any teams with a chance at the championship now

South Florida, Pitt and now Louisville are all solid wins.

I loved the way in which the Rutgers defense manhandled the hapless Louisville offense. And Rice is a very nice running back along with Leonard who will be a top fullback in the NFL.

    Congrats Rutgers!

Basically there were 3 undefeated teams competing, now down to 2 and since those 2 play against each other that will leave at most 1, which gives us a better chance in the BCS especially if we beat USC

As a Texas fan I was wondering if it is too late to put Florida on your schedule.

Couldn't finish watching the game last night and was stunned when I turned on ESPN and saw they won. I mean, Rutger defensive was outweighed an average of 50 pounds! That’s a lot and I thought for sure Louisville would play smash mouth and wear down Rutgers. guess not. Go Knights.

I hope Rutgers goes undefeated and all the BCS jagoffs who oppose a playoff or at least a BCS+1 s*it their pants.

I'm not really a college football fan, but I was watching the game (here in NJ) with a bunch of my buddies at a bar and the whole place was going CRAZY! Very exciting comeback...

It kind of stinks that even if they go out undefeated, they might not make it to the championship. :(

Looks to me like it will be OSU / Michigan vs. Florida. Although Florida has some tough games their schedule should put them in if they keep winning.

I think Rutgers showed that they are a lot better than people thought. Only the second time in the last four years that Louisville has been held to less than 300 yards. They made Brohm in the second half look like a freshman QB. Rutgers has to go to WV for their last game. If they end the year undefeated they deserve a chance to play in the title game.

Still can't believe they gave up 50 POUNDS on average per man on the line and didn't get worn down by the 4th quarter; defintiely flies in the face of conventional thinking.

That was a great game last nite. God was on their side. How did he miss that 33 yrd field goal game winner AND GET AN OFF-SIDES CALL TO RE-KICK??

Thats insane. That was one for the books. They're partying here in NJ this weekend, I can tell you that.

Theyve been talking about this all week here in NY/NJ on the radio and media. It is upsetting that even if Rutgers goes Undefeated and wins these big games, they will not get a chance at a big title bowl game. Why??

Because who cares about a small school out of NJ in the Big East division?

Rutgers can't play for the NC because they weren't just low on the radar to start the year, they were totally off of it. If they had scheduled some better OOC games they might have a chance. Personally I would take WV in the game against Rutgers. I would be surprised if Rutgers could summon the effort they put in last night again. But then again, I was surprised that Louisville got beat by them. I wish they would have played back the off sides call when the kicker missed from the game booth view. It looked to me like he jumped off sides and got back just before the snap. Hats off the Rutgers for not giving up, the fans really kept them pumped up all game! The students sure looked like they have a memory for life with that game.

Heh, I think you mean us Florida Gators. We are 4th in the BCS (behind Louisville) and barely in front of Texas. We have 4 games left (1 of which is the SEC Championship game). If we win out, I feel we will place ahead of Texas. USC is too far behind. The computers love the Gators more than the Harris and Coaches poll, lol!

I think our game vs Western Carolina will hurt us because they're a I-AA team. South Carolina and FSU aren't THAT bad, but both not as good as last year. I'm just glad we're in the SEC Championsihp game because a win there would boost us up. I hope Nebraska goes to the Big 12 Championship game against Texas. I hope they beat them like they pretty much did this season. Go Aggies, too!

Walked by a sports bar last night and saw the last 2 seconds of the game.

Now if Florida and Michigan lose, Texas is in the big game again :)

well.........depends on how much Michigan loses by, IF they lose. Both would be one loss teams with both losses coming by OSU.
