+1 -- of course, it helps to have Pininfarina do the modification ;) You won't see those (properly done) door window changes on any other cut TR, and that's the best looking engine bonnet/luggage area cover by far...

Can you post a shot more similar in view to the Agnelli photo? What I like best is that they preserved some more of the C-pillar shape by having the bodywork come up higher behind the seats (and no chicklet) -- but would like to compare them more apple-to-apple. I certainly wouldn't call the Straman design unattractive...

Dont have that shot with top down
The pinin is a massive notch behind seats while stramans is a smooth flow
I really should have kept this car!

IMO Not terrible but not right.
It is obvious to me when I see a convertible Testa as to why The coupe is the only way to go.
Is that car the rarest Testarossa hands down, period??

That is a strong candidate for the best looking Ferrari ever. Certainly the best of the Testa series. Amazing. Why didn't Ferrari make one, with so many coupes made...

I think it looks great and Argento is probably the best choice.

the TR itself is like a wing, so it needs no additional spoilers or so. without the roof it is no wing anymore and the ground effect will get lost

There are few cars that look good with and without a roof. The two exceptions I find are the TR and BMW 6 series. And a Daytona Spyder.

Anyone else notice the unusually steep rake of the windscreen? Modified or just an illusion?

    Edit:
    I meant low rake

Yeah I like that blue stripe too, trying to imagine how different it would look without it....just gives the body a slimmer look I think.

I wish they had of at least made a production targa Testarossa.
