Benjamin is okay, expensive, and has lots of kids who look down on others. If you aren't making $400k per year or more your kid will feel poor there. I can't really say that I recommend it, although if you are a high earner, your circle of friends will most likely gravitate towards sending their kids to Benjamin.

The best students actually attend a public school in one of the poorest areas of the county (Suncoast high school in Riviera Beach). If you are looking for an elementary school there are lots of good ones to choose from, mostly christian. Rosarian academy on the edge of downtown WPB is very good. Kings academy is a pretty strict christian school with generally good kids that goes K-12. My oldest daughter is just finishing high school at Cardinal Newman which I would not really recommend. They just don't have the facilities or the guidance to keep up with the magnet programs of the public high schools. My middle daughter is going to Dwyer high school in Jupiter and I think it is great. It is kind of like a small community college where the magnet kids are mostly segregated from the general students (Phys. Ed, lunch, and a few other classes are mixed with the general education students).

My wife would recommend Timber Trace or Mirasol in Palm Beach Gardens or LimeStone Creek in Jupiter for an elementary school.
She recommends Duncan middle school in Palm Beach Gardens or Independence middle school in Jupiter.

My kids all went to St. Clare in North Palm Beach for K-8 and I really like it even though it is not very fancy. It has a strong family atmosphere and generally very good teachers. The cost is very low for a private school (about $6k per year with discounts for additional students).

Also, don't waste your time using the school review web sites like www.greatschools.com. They do not allow any type of negative review, so the dirt on any school will never show up there.

I go to Palm Beach Central. Decent school. A lot of fun events. Great people, great faculty the campus is nice. They keep everything nice and clean. Great cafeteria.*The whole place is great. Coming from a kid who Thinks school is a waste of time. If you plan on going to a public school, I'd check it out

Matt Shoemaker is a good friend of mine (the principal of Palm Beach Central). Tell him Bill Tracy says "hi" next time you see him. He was my niece's 4th grade teacher in the early 1990's.
